2026 Summer Undergraduate Training Program Summer Student Research Program

To cultivate emerging talents in biotechnology, the Southern Biotechnology Center of Academia Sinica (located in Shalun Smart Green Energy Science City, Tainan, next to the Tainan High-Speed Rail Station) provides excellent faculty and encourages undergraduate students to participate in research projects at the Center during the summer. Accepted students will receive guidance at the Center during the summer in order to complete their research projects.

/Eligibility/
Undergraduate students currently enrolled in life science–related departments.

/Program Period/
From July 1, 2026 to August 31, 2026.

/Scholarship/
Each admitted student will receive a monthly stipend starting from NTD 12,000.

/Housing Subsidy/
Students whose household registration is outside the designated areas of Tainan City and Kaohsiung City will be provided with a housing subsidy.

/Certificate/
Students who complete the program will be issued a certificate by the Center.

Review Process and Results
After the application deadline, each laboratory will conduct the selection process. The interview list will be announced on the Center’s website on May 4, 2026. Students on the list must provide their available interview times within the specified period. The final selection results will be announced on the Center’s website on May 15, 2026.
