主要研究領域與專長:
  • 環境奈米材料開發及應用: 研發具備高活性與高選擇性的新興奈米材料,並將其應用於環境復育、污染控制及綠色工程。
  • 農業剩餘資材循環再利用: 推動農業廢棄物的高值化與資源化轉型,將其轉化為環保材料或能源,落實循環經濟。
  • 污染物檢測及去除: 建立精確且靈敏的微量分析與檢測技術,並開發高效的污染物降解與去除機制。
  • 土壤及地下水污染整治: 針對受重金屬或有機物污染的土壤與地下水環境,設計並執行具經濟效益的現場整治與現地復育方案。
  • 水及廢水處理: 最佳化水資源淨化流程與工業及民生廢水處理技術,提升水資源的回收再利用率。
  • 環境安全評估: 針對各類環境污染物(包含新興污染物、微膠粒等)進行生物危害風險與環境宿命評估。
Yi-Chun Chen Assistant Professor
The Environmental Virulence and Biointerface Assessment Laboratory (EVbA Lab) is dedicated to addressing pressing environmental pollution challenges and systematically evaluating the potential hazards and interactions of contaminants at the biological interface. By integrating advanced environmental engineering technologies with biological assessments, our laboratory focuses on sustainable practices and the circular economy. We strive to provide forward-looking scientific solutions for the conservation and remediation of aquatic, terrestrial, and marine environments.
Core Research Areas & Specialties:
  • Environmental Nanomaterial Development and Application: Innovating highly reactive and selective nanomaterials for environmental restoration, pollution control, and green engineering applications.
  • Agricultural Waste Resource Recycling and Reuse: Promoting the valorization and transformation of agricultural by-products into eco-friendly materials or alternative resources to support a circular economy.
  • Pollutant Detection and Removal: Establishing highly sensitive and precise analytical techniques, alongside developing highly efficient mechanisms for the degradation and removal of contaminants.
  • Soil and Groundwater Remediation: Designing and implementing cost-effective, in-situ remediation and restoration strategies for environments contaminated by heavy metals or organic pollutants.
  • Water and Wastewater Treatment: Optimizing water purification processes and advanced treatment technologies for both industrial and domestic wastewater to enhance water reclamation.
  • Environmental Pollutant Hazard Assessment: Conducting comprehensive ecological risk assessments, and environmental fate modeling for various pollutants, including emerging contaminants and microplastics.
